When the Emotions Come

I was going through the drive through and felt a sudden surge of emotions well up.  I thought to myself, “It’s okay to cry, but at least place your order first!”  There is nothing “wrong”, it’s just that I have a lot of stuff on my mind.  As my neice says, “My head is a busy place”, and when it feels super full, I cry.  I’m okay with tears, (I am a trained counsellor after all), and tears are my way of release.

The funny thing was, I was listening to the local Christian radio station and the first line of the song was, “The dam broke today.”  I didn’t hear anything after that. Why?  I was actually thinking about you!  I wondered how many women out there are carrying loads of various things on their heart?  How many women don’t know where to go with it, who to talk to, or just want a place be real with someone?

Where do you go to release your tears?  Who carries your heart when life just feels heavy, you carry the weight of lots of responsibilites, your finances are tight, or relationships feel raw at the moment?  I get it!  And I’m here to tell you that it’s okay to feel the emotions you feel.

If you have those drive through moments, or tears pouring out on the Walmart parking lot, please know you don’t have to be alone. I can help.  Check out my Heart Talk Coaching Bundles, or at least reach out to someone who can carry your heart for awhile.  Life is not meant to be walked alone.
